Pastor Nick Hood

Lord, it is exactly one week until the end of the year!  Looking back, I feel good about the accomplishments, I acknowledge those things that loom ahead, and like Santa, making a list and checking it twice.  Help me to turn a spiritual corner as I focus on the New Year.  Lord, I am excited.  Lord, I am expectant.  Lord, I am egar like a runner crouching and bent in the block, waiting for the sound of the starter.  I can see the finish line. The banner is stretched.  The lines are drawn.  The anticipation makes my heart beat, and I cannot wait.  Bless me now !  I have prepared for this moment, and I feel secure and assured.  Only you know what is waiting, but it feels good.  Bless me now with your favor, shower me with your Spirit, and may your glory shine with every step, every breath, every thought.  In Jesus name I pray.  Amen.
